The Florida Eels Premier and Elite teams have away games against the Florida Jr Blades on Saturday and return home to the Fort Myers Skatium on Sunday for their homestand. The Eels Elite team is coming off a 5 game winning streak stemming back to the December Showcase. They are looking to extend it to 7 games.  They are just 4 points behind the Tampa Juniors for 1st place in the Florida Division. They have played 3 less games than Tampa. Tampa travels to Atlanta to take on the Mad Hatters this weekend. Thus, the games this weekend are critical.  The Blades sit in 3rd place with 35 points compared to the Eels 44 points.

The Eels Premier team sits in 1st place with 44 points. Tampa who has played 3 more games has 40 points. The Blades have 29 points. Atlanta has 22 points and Palm Beach has 18 points in 5th place. You can see every game is consequential. These are very close races. The Eels looking to gain day light whereas the remaining 4 teams are trying to climb the latter and for Palm Beach and Atlanta, they are looking to stay alive.
