Unprecedented Jake Court Selected as Player of The Week For the Second Straight Week
Congratulations to this week’s USPHL Elite Players Of The Week representing the South Divisions (Southeast/Florida).
Forward: Jake Court, Florida Eels.
Court (‘00/Fort Myers, Fla.) was a dominant force on the ice for the Eels this past weekend. He tallied five goals and three assists in two games, having a major contribution to the team’s success. Jake is a valuable two way player and has been riding a 10-game points streak in which he has tallied 30 points and he is well situated in the top three scorers for the entire USPHL Elite with 56 points in 26 games.
Defense: Alex Walsh, Richmond Generals.
Walsh (‘00/Parker, Colo.) was excellent in all situations for the Generals this weekend and had a huge impact in the Generals’ sweep of the Carolina Eagles over the weekend. He leads the Generals in scoring among defensemen and ranks in the top five in the Elite league overall for scoring among defensemen with 20 points in 24 games.
Goal: Brandon Maio, Hampton Roads Whalers.
Maio (‘98/Guilford, Conn.) stopped every shot fired his way on Saturday night for his fifth win of the season and first shutout with the Whalers this year.
