This weekend the Eels Face-Off against two of their Florida Division foes the Jr Blades on Saturday and Palm Beach on Sunday. This is a very unique set of games as we generally have home and away sets against the same organization. Nonetheless 4 very important points are on the line for both the Premier and Elite squads. Both teams are coming off the USPHL Tampa Showcase where between the two teams they played a total of 9 games. In fact the Elite played the Jr Blades this past Wed thus increased their work load to 10 games over the past week.

The Elite team stumbled in their 8-7 OT loss to the Blades. Quite frankly you could tell the boys were still fighting off the exhaustion from the showcase last weekend. No excuses just fact. They had a chance to rest  bit this week and re-group to get themselves settled and ready for the upcoming games.

The Premier team plays at 3:20 Saturday and the Elite squad at 9:15 pm The real test for the Elite guys is their game Sunday they play at 10:00 am and Premier 1:00 pm. Will their intense training prepare them for the upcoming games? We believe so and this is why we train the way we do all year long.
