The Florida Eels would like to announce that Florida Eels forward Jake Court has committed to Florida Gulf Coast University FGCU Div. 2 Jake played his entire youth hockey and junior hockey with the Florida Eels. Jake was one of the Eels hardest working players. He showed unmatched determination and dedication to his team. He was a work horse. He was one of the Eels all time top scorers and set up men. He is quick on his skates and a very shifty player. In 175 games he scored 90 goals and notched 122 assists for a total of 212 total points. He comes from a great family whose name “Court” is synonymous with Eels. We wish Jake the very best and know he will make us proud. We are excited we will be able to watch him play here in Fort Myers
