As our players return home for the holiday, we remined them that this is indeed a time for thanksgiving. We are all so fortunate to be playing the best sport in the world: Ice Hockey.  We encourage you to spend time with your families who have made enormous sacrifices in investing in your future and enabling you to pursue your dreams in quest to play college hockey. We thank your families for allowing the Eels to be the program that helps you realize your goals.

We stress to all of our players to be sure to spend time with your moms’ dads’ grandparents’ brothers and sisters. Sure you will see your friends, but your time at home is limited so take advantage to spend time with your love ones who in the end are the ones most dear to you. When home with your friends be smart. Be athletes. We remind you; you are on a mission and have your goals. Don’t be tempted by distractions. Be athletes. Both of our teams amongst the top in our divisions and in the league. You have shown unwavering commitment this season so continue with that resolve and fortitude.

We want you to enjoy the incredible dinners your families will be preparing. And equally important is to energize and get some needed rest.

Upon return next week we have huge games ahead including matches against the Jr Blades and Tampa. Then we head to one of the biggest Showcases of the year. So be sure to get some rest  to help propel our endeavors ahead
