The Eels Premier team take on the Madhatters in 3 games over the weekend. Game one the Eels were edged 3-2 in a disappointing loss. They controlled the territory, shots on goal and overall play but came up short. Last night the Eels avenged their loss by handing the Madhhaters a serious loss 6-4 as the Eels dominated throughout the evening.
Today the Eels once again looked like their 1st place status overwhelming the Madhhaters in their 4-2 win. This was a costly loss for Atlanta as they are fighting to hold on to 4th place as a final spot for a playoff run. Palm Beach a bit behind is still alive and fighting to overtake the Madhatters.
The Eels take on Palm Beach this weekend while the Blades travel to Atlanta for their weekend series.
So much is riding in the next few weeks of games. The Eels are looking to secure 1st place while Tampa is pushing up to take back 1st place. However, the Eels are focused more on being playoff ready than the 1st place title. We still have some pieces to put in place and fine tuning our troops. Meanwhile, the Blades are looking to hold on to 3rd while Palm Beach is strung to edge out the Madhatters.
The Eels Premier take on the Jr Blades on Wed and the Typhoon this weekend while the Blades travel to Atlanta for what undoubtedly will be tough games.
