The Florida Eels Elite Team Out- Dueled In Shoot-Out In Home Opener The Eels team scored first and often in their home opener Sunday as they went up 2-0 in the end of the 2nd period. But Tampa never quit and managed to tie the game 4-4 bringing the game in to OT. After a 3 on 3 OT for 5 minutes the teams remained tied and the Eels and Juniors went to a shootout. Having turned away 5 shooters Tampa scored and ended the game.

The Eels had plenty of guys hitting the scoreboard as the scoring went as follows:
First Period:
Court from McNeish and Dill
Swygert from McNeish and Dill

Second Period:
Swygert from Demyere
Gill from McNeish and Toth

In net was Nahuel Veyan

The Eels had 3 out of 4 points on the weekend. Looking forward to next week’s games vs the Palm Beach Hawks.
