The Florida Eels Are Thrilled to Announce the Signing of Veteran 1998 Defensemen 5’7” 165lbs  Jace Lis-D’Alessandro to the Eels Junior Program.

Jace is a high-end veteran defenseman. He played in Canada last year he played 35 games for the Chambly Fortsand 9 games with the Montréal-Nord Arcticboth of the prestigious QJAAAHL. In 2016-17 he played for the Florida Eels and the New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs.  Previously  he played for the top Midget AAA programs in Canada such as the  CIHA Green Midget AAAin the HEOMAAA

and theCIHA Voyageurs Midget AAAin the OEMHL. GM Scarpaci has always been very high on Jace. He is a young man in his last year and is looking to put it all together and garner college opportunities here. No doubt in Jace’s mind the Eels hallmark is college advancement and this is a perfect fit for him and his goals.

Premier Coach Frank Scarpaci comments D’Alessandro is a very high-end defenseman. He is an offensive defenseman. When Jace played for me I like he made the quick smart in zone passes. Great on the break out He plays a quick transition style that we play. He has good vision. Very offensive on the opposing blueline. A consummate scoring threat indeed. He is a very strong skater with explosive speed. He will be a valued addition to our all-star cast of defensemen,

Coach Sanchez who works with the defensemen is escatic having Jace join the team. This will give him 6 incredibly strong defensemen and the envy of most teams. These kids have it all.

GM Scarpaci concludes Jace completes the 6-man pairing and rotation. We have extremely strong D-men no weak links. That is very critical as a corner stone for our team. We are solid in goal and on defense. This will be an impenetrable force. Added to our explosive offense we are very excited. Jace is a very determined young man and willing to put in the time and effort to garner the attention of the college coaches. He is a byproduct of HPA Sports and they produce only top end high character players. Jace like so many from HPA Sports is determined to realize his goals to advance to NCAA college. He now will undergo the most intense training of his career. He realizes this and this is what it takes to make his dreams and goals become a reality. We are happy that Jace has elected to re- join the Eels this season.
