The Florida Eels Are Thrilled to Announce the Signing of Swedish Star forward Oliver Karlstrom

The Eels were very engaged with the recent Future Star’s Identification camp having all 4 coaches scouting the players throughout the weekend. All the Eels coaches no doubt were keyed in on 2002 Swedish forward Oliver Karlstrom. He was a high impactful player. Outstanding skating ability and equally strong skill set. Extremely explosive speed. Very soft hands who could thread the needle. He has a nose to the net. He drove hard all weekend and it was a showcase. Its shows his unwavering high compete level. We did our due diligence and there is no question he shares the values of the Eels with his determination and dedication to his craft.

Just look at his numbers from Sweden.  In 117 games played he scored 71 goals 52 assists for 123 points. He will undoubtedly be an impactful player here on the Eels. He will be joined by a number of other top players from Europe Canada and the USA. We love his attitude. In addition to being a gifted player he is a strong leader and will fit right in with the Eels system. We welcome Oliver Karlstrom to our family.
