The Florida Eels Are Excited to Announce the Re-Signing of Gabriel Hemstrom from Stockholm, Sweden to their Premier Team

In 43 games for the Florida Eels Premier team last season, Gabriel Hemstrom scored 12 goals and garnered 12 assists for 24 points.  Gabe previously played Juniors in Sweden and notched a total of 47 goals and 51 assists in 102 games.  Premier Coach Frank Scarpaci commented,  “at 6’3” 203 pounds he uses his size and strength as a power forward. We are very excited with the return of Gabriel, last year being a transition year to the North American style of play. We expect him to have phenomenal season.” General Manager Scarpaci notes, “ He is a high character young man with tremendous passion and determination. Already he has several NCAA colleges who have placed him under their radar….he is definitely a NCAA College prospect….”
