The Florida Eels Elite Final Standings In The Eels Ranked 9thIn League

The Eels Elite team did phenomenal this season. Coach Alex Sanchez did a great job in his first year as head coach of the team says GM Frank Scarpaci. Alex was assistant coach of the Premier team last season and was promoted to Head Coach of the Elite team while continuing on as Assistant Coach of the Premier team. WE wanted synergy in coaching   said Florida Eels Premier Frankie Scarpaci. We want to be able to have the same style systems and player development formula. This year was a prime example. We moved up and down close to 15 players from Elite to Premier and vice versa. Our players were able to make the transition seamless. GM Scarpaci noted, having both coaches work together is the most successful element in player development.

The Eels Elite team is amongst the top in the league. They are 9thin the USPHL Elite. They hold a very respectable ranking on National Ranking for Tier III teams. In fact, far ahead of many very respectable teams. They are 3rdin the league with Goals For: 210 Then 7thin the league in GA.

The team has explosive speed and some pretty big guys a number of 6 feet and guys powering over 200 pounds. Solid goaltending and 4 lines deep at forward and on defense. These boys are all dialed in and hungrier than ever. One eye: Florida Division Playoffs. They have their final destination in their sights but are not getting too far ahead of them. They are not taking the Jr Blades for granted.
