Captain Taurin Haddon-Harris with his point in today’s game eclipsed all former Eels as the All Time Leader in points in a single season 73.
The Eels Premier team faced off against the Jr Blades team this afternoon to complete the make up game of last week. The game remained scoreless at the end of the 1st period. The Eels took an early lead in the 2nd period Collin Patterson (27) ASST: Josef Petersen (2), Alexandre Caron (2) (SH)and struck again for a 2nd goal Easton Moore (6) ASST: Kayde Budgell (12), Taurin Haddon-Harris (46) (PP) until the Blades cut the lead in half before period end. The Blades tied things up in the 3rd to make it interesting. Eels went ahead by a huge goal from Thomas Lonsdale (2) ASST: Collin Patterson (22), Gage Dill (6) and then the Eels scored an insurance goal by Taurin Haddon-Harris (27) ASST: Easton Moore (23), Gage Dill (7) (PP).
Alex Caron had another huge game in net turning away 25 of 27 shots.
With this win the Eels are now 3 points ahead of Tampa in the standings. Holding sole possession of 1st place in the Florida Div and ranked 7th over all in the league of 65 teams
