Florida Eels Elite faced off Friday, February 2nd, 2024 at 4:00 pm against the Bold City Battalion. The boys were ready to play their game. Sean Burke and Zayn Haddon-Harris rang the bell, bringing the Eels lead 2-0 at the end of the second period. Dominic Doyle and Marc Ghafari were quick to follow with another two goals in the second period-the Eels with a 4 nothing lead going into the third period. Bold City found the back of the net late in the third period, but were not able to close in on the Eels lead with Anthony LaCroix in net. The Eels Elite head into Game Two, February 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM.
Florida Eels Premier dominated the game Friday, February 2nd, 2024. With their incredible defensive play and non stop offense the boys were able to close the game 2-0 against the Bold City Battalion, and once again claimed the first place title for the Florida Division. The Eels impressive defensive strategy was noted throughout the entire game by on air broadcaster Christian Adams. Adams stated numerous times, the Battalion could not penetrate the Eels defense. After a scoreless first period, the Eels Noah Trathen captured the first goal of the game in the second period closing the second 1-0. Matt Perry claimed the second goal, in third period pushing the Eels lead 2-0. Goalie Tresor Wotton held the game, and did not let any pucks cross across the Eels threshold. The Eels Premier head into Game Two, February 3rd, 2024 at 5:00 PM.
