Exciting Florida Eels College Prospects To Keep An Eye On

The Florida Eels Premierteam came off last weekend’s USPHL Chicago Showcaseon fire with —22 goals tallied with a combined total of 58 pointsfor its players in the 4-game series. The Eels scored 8 goals vs. the Decatur Blaze, then 4 against the Steele County Blades, and then 10 more against the Detroit Fighting Irish.Against the Lansing Wolves it was a 0-0 game until one went by the Eels with 1.5 seconds remaining in the game. All in all, it was a phenomenal weekend for the Eels Premier team, as the players were able to showcase their high tempo game, explosive skating, detail and perseverance to D-Zone play and an exciting and explosive offense.  Moreover, the Eels goaltending was equally strong as Viktor Paulsson was selected as South and Florida Divisions Player of the Week in net with his superb performance with a shutout and only allowing 1 goal the entire weekend. By a same token, Paulsson’s partner, Tom Steere, only allowed 3 goals in his 2 games for a 1.5 GAA for the weekend.
