The Elite team win in OT over Atlanta to make it a weekend sweep over the Natters. On Friday the Elite team took it to a shootout to bring home the win. Last night the Elite team again came from behind 2-1 to tie it up and with seconds remaining on the 3 on 3 Five-minute OT period the Eels threaded the needle and scored. This was a very exciting pair of games for the Eels as they swept the Madhatters at their barn.

The last time the Eels came to Atlanta they went 1-1-1. This time they won the pair and consequentially gave themselves a little more breathing room between them and Atlanta in the standings. The Eels had gone into the weekend in 2nd, but the Hatters were on their heels in 3rd.
The Eels Elite came away very excited with this win. They now will focus on their upcoming 4 games at the USPHL December Showcase at Hertz Arena. As the coaches said enjoy this feeling. But now attention has to be shifted to the task ahead of them. The 4 games in the Showcase. Training restarts on Monday with a needed Sunday off from the long road trip and a pair of grueling games.
