EELS SIGNING ALERT: The Florida Eels are pleased to announce the signing of Joe McCormick out of Tipp City, Ohio. McCormick is a two year veteran to junior hockey competing in both the NA3HL as well as the USPHL-Premier. Last season, he had an impressive offensive explosion grabbing 27 points in 37 games for the Yellowstone Quake.  McCormick is excellent defensively, has a quick first couple steps, and a real good wrist shot that gets off in a hurry. The coaching staff is excited to bring him in adding skill, reliability as well as experience. “Bringing in Maroszek was so key to our teams success last season. He was able to play any of the three forward positions, contributed offensively but was so reliable defensively.  We see a lot of the same qualities in Joe,” said Coach Scarpaci.
