EELS SIGNING ALERT: The Florida Eels are pleased to announce the signing of Damon Kiyawasew out of Sherwood Park, Alberta. The 2002 forward played for the Summerland Steam in the KIJHL last season, before the season was shut down due to COVID.  Damon looks to make up for last year and helps to make an immediate impact towards heading back to Nationals. He plays an in your face game but has always been a goal scorer at every level. “When talking about Damon, I knew of his skill and ability to finish in tight spaces when talking to scouts from the western part of Canada. What really sold me on him was his straight forward approach on helping this team win a championship. His energy is contagious and we want him to bring that on and off the ice,” said Coach Scarpaci.
