EELS SIGNING ALERT: The Florida Eels are pleased to announce the signing of Benjamin Allen out of Texas. The coaching staff talked to Allen early on this summer and loved his enthusiasm to the process of getting better through junior hockey. Allen is friends and former teammates with another Eels signee, Alex Evanyk.  Last season, Ben scored 19 goals and 37 points in just 14 games for the Richardson/Rockwall High School team.  Allen also played for the Dallas Junior Penguins U18 team. “We’re very pleased with what Ben can bring to not just the team, but to his game as well.  He’s quick, likes to contribute offensively but you can tell he takes pride in the defensive zone,” said Coach Scarpaci.
