The Eels once again overtake the Columbia Infantry with its 2nd win of the weekend. Yesterday the Eels won 10-1 and today it was an equally strong game. The Eels could have put in maybe 6-7 more but for the strong performance by the Infantry netminder. In fact the Eels pounded close to 55 shots on net
Key notes Kaiser scored his 12th and 13th, Taylor notched another goal that is his 3rd of the weekend. Ghafari scored one putting it out of reach for Columbia, St-Denis-Lacombe turned away 23 of 24 shots in net for the Eels
The boys showed a little sigh of being tired no doubt with the travel and many guys nuring a cold. But they found a way to put the biscuts in the basket and our goalie turned away shot after shot allowing a stingy one goal against.
