On Saturday the Eels Elite turn the tide from a 4 game losing streak at the Florida Showcase by defeating the Northern Cyclones 5-2. Today the Eels continued their winning efforts by downing the Jersey Hitmen with a 3-0 Shutout.

This was an extremely close game between the two clubs. For most of the 1st 1/2 the two clubs remained scoreless. The Eels managed to put one pass the ever stingy Hitmen goalie and it remained 1-0 until the final few minutes when the Eels found the back of the net twice to close it out 3-0.

The Hitmen are a well coached team and these boys kept pounding away on the Eels netminder Mork. But he held strong and slammed shut the door.

This was another awesome game within the Hub City event. Here we all witnessed and experienced two very strong organizations come in to Fort Myers and play some of the best hockey the Eels played all season.
