Congratulations to our newest group of winners representing the USPHL Premier’s Southeast and Florida Divisions!
Forward: Nikita Pinimyasov, Florida Eels.
Pinimyasov had another strong weekend for the Eels, collecting one goal and one assist in one game played against the Tampa Bay Juniors. His consistent play has led the Eels for the past two months, during which the 2000-born Russian Eels veteran has scored in eight games straight, including 10 goals. Pinimyasov is currently 14th overall in Premier Division scoring.
Defense: Jaxon Rutkowski, Hampton Roads Whalers.
A repeat selection, this ‘98 from Rome, N.Y., had another big weekend for the undefeated Whalers. He had an assist in Saturday’s win over Potomac and the power play game-winning goal on Sunday, also against the Patriots. He continues his reign as the leading scorer among all USPHL Premier defensemen.
Goal: James Grasinger, Atlanta Jr. Kings.
Grasinger earned his second straight win by stopping 42 of 44 shots from the Richmond Generals in a 3-2 victory on Saturday. His prior win, during the USPHL Chicago Showcase against the Minnesota Mullets, was a 34-save shutout. The ‘00 from Freeport, Pa., holds a 3-2 record and a 2.13 goals against average.
