Today the Eels Premier and Elite Square off vs cross town rivals the Junior Blades

The Eels have been on the road and showcasing games at the USPHL College Showcases in Tampa and Boston for 2 months and today marks a welcome return to their home crowd.

Today the Premier team kicks off at 1;15 pm while the Elite team licks off immediately after 3:15 pm

The Blades Premier won in OT on Friday night over the Charleston Colonials while their Elite team sustained their 7th straight loss. You can expect their Premier team to try to build off that win and gain some ground in the standings as they sit in 4th place. The Blades Elite team backs are against the wall as they slipped into 5th place and desperately need a win if they are to remain alive in the playoff hunt.

The Eels are equally pumped and excited about these games. The Premier team wants to continue their dominance in the Florida Division as well as within the entire USPHL. This team is one of the hottest teams in Junior hockey.

The Elite team is also very hot right now. They earned 7 out of 8 points at the USPHL Main showcase in Boston. They went 3-0-1. They are looking to extend their margin over the Tampa juniors to also maintain their 1st place seed in the Florida Division. After a hiccup at the Tampa Showcase the Elite guys have captured their game back.
