Kadnikovs (‘03/Riga, Latvia) posted a goal as the Juniors were able to defeat the host Atlanta MadHatters 6-2 in what turned out to be a single-game trip due to weather conditions. Eels Premier Team Falls to Tampa 5-2 in game one of weekend series

The Eels Premier team simply did not have it on Friday night. When you get scored on with 2 quick goals and a 3rd for good measure in the 1st period , the battle was up hill. That is generally not the case and the Eels always find a way to battle back but tonight they came up empty handed.

The bottom line the Eels scored just 2 and allowed 5

The two teams face off against one another Sunday at home 1:00 pm

The Eels no doubt will be looking to avenge this lost.

Eels Elite Down Florida Jr Blades 5-3

The Florida Eels Elite team took on the Blades at Hertz Arena and out skated outgunned and out played the in every inch of the ice. This makes it 6 straight wins for the Eels Elite. And 4 of those games were against top ranked teams in the North
The Eels square off against Palm Beach Sunday morning 10:30 am at home

This team is on a mission. You can see it in their faces in the way they train during the week the way they enter the rink on game day the way they conduct themselves in the lockerrom the way they play and exit the run.

The Florida Eels Premier team tops Blades in OT Shootout

It took 3 periods of regulation, 5 minutes of 3 on 3 OT and a shootout to decide the match between the Jr Blades and the Eels Premier team.

This was a strong game by both squads. Both offensively and defensively The goaltending was solid by both teams. It was a pretty clean game for the two closely contended rivals as well. In the end the Eels had better sharpshooters to put it away. The Eels earn 2 points the Blades one.
The Eels face-off against the Typhoon at 1:00 pm at the Skatium on Sunday

The Florida Eels Elite Dismantle the Palm Beach Typhoon 9-4

The Eels Elite team struck early and often taking down their East Coast Rivals on Sunday morning. The Eels went on the attack from the drop of the puck scoring 4 quick goals. Palm Beach countered in the 2nd bringing it to within 1 goal with a slight 5-4 deficit. But the Eels opened up for 4 more toppling the Typhoon 9-4 at game end.

The Typhoon players never quit. They are a determined young team and did all they could to thaw the Eels potent offense. But the Eels had too many weapons with multiple players contributing to the attack. The Eels came off an offensive exposition Saturday evening vs the Blades. There is no question all cylinders are firing here and we hope this execution continues next weekend vs the Tampa Juniors.

The Florida Eels Premier team Overpower the Palm Beach Typhoon Winning 4-1

The Eels Premier team proved a little too potent for their cross state rivals the Palm Beach Typhoon. Palm Beach held things close with solid goaltending throughout the game turning away 36 of 40 shots but in the end could not muster enough offense to put more than one pass Eels netminder Duncan Rolleman The Eels back checking was incredible as they frustrated the Typhoon repeatedly denying zone entry. Moreover, the Eels fore-check proved why they were among the top in the league. The Eels kept rolling out line after line having 4 solid sets and it was way too much of a burden on the Typhoon. There are very few teams who can complete with the Eels heavy offense. Some teams may have one or two solid lines. But hardly can a team replicate our 4 lines. It simply is not sustainable.
Next week the Eels Premier and Elite take on the Tampa Juniors Friday away and Sunday at home.
