The Florida Eels are excited to add depth between the pipes with the addition of Charles Beehler to it’s program. At 6’2” 190 lbs he brings great size between the pipes. He brings strong experience coming from the Wisconsin Lumberjacks Tier II SIJHL He is from Boulder, CO, He has played previously in the USPHL as well. He is a strong competitor with solid skill set,. Squares his shooters quick glove and plays at a high compete level. We look forward to Charles joining us this Fall.

The Florida Eels are excited to announce the signing of veteran forward Joaquin Del Core He is a 2004 veteran forward who played mainly Elite and some Premier last season in the USPHL IHC. Joaquin is 5’5” 150 lbs. has solid skill set. A good skater. Moves the puck well He is hard on the forecheck. Joaquin plays with high energy and compete level. He shares the passion and desire of the Eels program. His experience veteran status and attitude will help continue the Eels quest for dominance in its division. Welcome buddy to the Eels
The Florida Eels Welcome Dmitry Petrenko to Our Program
The Florida Eels are very excited to announce the signing of Dmitry Petrenko to its program. As a 2005 he brings spirit, fire enthusiasm and intensity to an already potent Eels artesian. He has played for strong minor hockey organizations and a very highly respected prep school and these experiences will do him well as he enters Junior Hockey.
Our scouts have seen him play and were indeed impressed. He has solid skill set. He is a 2 way player having played both forward and defense,
We are thrilled he has elected to call the Eels his home next season.
The Florida Eels are excited to announce Maxim Schanck has joined our program for the 2022-23 Season
This young man has all the tools……………..
GM Frank Scarpaci and his coaches have scouted Schanck for over a year and are very excited to repeort he is finally here.At 6’0″ he brings good size to teh Eels. Maxim is a natural defensemen. Strong skill set. He owns the D-zone when he is on the ice. Maxim movers the puck extremly well. He jumps in on the transition breakout which creates havoc for opposing teams. Maxim has a good shot form teh offesnve blueline.
Schanck is very disciplined in his own zone. He makes smart first breakout passes. He relentlessly battles in front of the crease and along the boards. He enjoys a strong gap.
He is makeing the jump this seaosn from Midegts to Juniors and and is looking to bring his game to the Next Level. He has a great attitude. He joins 3 other players form his midget team this season who have signed with teh Eels

The Florida Eels Are Thrilled to Announce Grady Duden has signed for the 2022-23 season
Grady garners over a point per game
The Eels believe we struck pay-dirt at the Americas’ Showcase last Spring in scouting recruiting and signing Grady Duden to its program. We honestly feel Grady was the top forward at the showcase. The Americas Showcase is the USA Hockey Nationals for High School All-Stars. It presents the top high school players from their region and Districts at one major showcase. It allows coaches and scouts from junior programs to evaluate the talent over 5-6 days.
The Eels like always took our time and focus on just a handful of players. After a week of scouting we were satisfied and convinced Grady was the player we wanted. He also showed over the season he had the knack to put the puck in the net. He had some impressive numbers In 19 games he scored 15 goals and notched 20 assists for 35 points.
We saw this same appetite and drive at the showcase. He was determined as ever and we believe he will bring this same high compete level to the Eels. He has solid overall skill set and has a great attitude
He elected to come to the Eels as we are a clear pathway to college.

The Eels European Connection is one fire!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Eels are so excited to have signed Jachym Cermak to its program. Cermak marks a continued relationship with players from the Czech Republic. We have a great scouting group in the Czech Republic and Europe in general.Cermak brings a very high hockey IQ and a phenomenal skill set. He is a fast skater who reads the ice so well. He is a playmaker; in in 78 games for the U20 team he scored 13 goals and notched 33 assist for an impressive 46 pints. That is .50 points per game. We love his attitude, his work ethic and determination; he has the hunger and desire to elevate his game to the Next Level. He is already committed to the Eels style of play. With our Player Development Model he will so happy here.

Major Announcement: Landen Engels Returns to The Eels
Veteran Captain Engels Signs for 3rd Season With The Eels
The Eels are extremely excited to announce that Landen Engels has re-signed with the program. This is his 3rd season with the Eels and 4th in Junior Hockey. He is only a 2003 and has such experience in Juniors Moreover he played 3 seasons of high level TIER I AAA hockey as well.
This young man has excellent skill set, plays with high intensity but never gets unraveled. He has been team Captain for the past two seasons on the Elite squad. He lead his team to 23 straight wins last season, first place finish in the tough Florida Div upsetting Tampa, and swept Atlanta in the playoffs. Then lead his team to advance to Nationals.
Landen scored 26 goals and close to 50 assists as a top defensemen. He quarterbacks the power play and PK This young man was one of the team’s and league’s MVP no doubt He won player of the week a number of times and held similar honors at Player of the Month An impactful player
He is anxious to return He says we have unfinished business here and wants to win a National Championship

The Florida Eels Are Thrilled to Announce Keith Orlando Signed With Eels Program.
The Eels make another key moved to bolster its line up for the 2022-23 season with the signing of 5’10 165 lbs. forward Keith Orlando from Hartfield PA This will be Keith’s second year in the USPHL. Having played a year he brings experience playing juniors which gives him a step ahead of others. That experience speaks volumes both on the ice and in the locker room.
Orlando is a very good skater and has solid skill set. He is a gifted playmaker and set up guy as his stats reflect over the last several seasons playing midget and high school hockey. This young man comes from a true hockey family. Great pedigree. Impeccable character. The type of players the Eels have on our program
