It was a great weekend for the Florida Eels Premier Team going 3-0 on the weekend against the Atlanta Madhatters. To kick off the weekend the Eels’ won its first game 7-2.
It was center Tauron Haddon-Harris dominating with a 6-point game. Harris has a total of 28 points on the season and is averaging three points per game. Center Collin Patterson also stood out with a hattrick.
The defense also got in on the action with Trevoy Voyda adding three points. This doesn’t come as a surprise, but goaltender Duncan Rolleman only allowed two goals on 28 saves. Rolleman is now 5-1 on the season and has a 1.84 GAA along with 162 saves.
The Eels’ followed up game one with another stout performance winning 6-2. Goaltender Alexandre Caron only allowed two goals on 24 saves.
Caron added to his impressive season and is still undefeated (7-0). Caron has a 1.84 GAA along with 162 saves on the season.
In-game three the team put on a clinic winning 4-1 and scored three of their four goals in the third period. Goaltender Duncan Rolleman was lights out with 28 saves allowing one goal.
The Mad hatters scored their only goal in the second period. Center Tauron Haddon-Harris didn’t go quiet and added two points himself.
It was an impressive weekend for the Premier Team as they moved to 12-1-1 on the season and are now in first place after a 3-0 weekend against division opponent the Atlanta Mad Hatters. The Eels now have an 11-5-2-1 record all-time against the Mad Hatters along with their predecessors the Atlanta Knights and Kings.
For the remaining part of the month, the Eels’ will be playing the Florida Junior Blades, Tampa Bay Juniors, and the Palm Beach Typhoon.
It is a quick turnaround for a hot Eels’ team that faces its hometown rival the Junior Blades Wednesday, Nov. 10 at home.
