The Florida Eels are proud to announce that 2006 Forward Blake Becker has officially committed to playing college hockey at Illinois State University for the 2025-2026 season.
Becker, who has spent the past two seasons competing in the United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL), has shown remarkable skill, and dedication on the ice. He made his USPHL debut with the Minnesota Squatch before joining the Florida Eels Premier team for the 2024-2025 season. Since arriving in Florida, Becker has been a dynamic force, contributing significantly to the Eels’ success with his offensive prowess and unwavering work ethic.
“Blake has been an incredible addition to our program this season,” said the Florida Eels coaching staff. “His determination, and team-first mentality have made a lasting impact, and we are excited to see him take the next step in his career at Illinois State.”
