Handfast is a 6’0 183 forward. He played  Vallentuna BK J20 / J20 Elite . He was one of the top forwards at the Spring Pro Am NHL Pre-Draft back in May in Boston Massachusetts. He immediately caught the eye of the Eels coaches and scouting staff. In fact, General Manager Frank Scarpaci had been scouting Jacob months before he arrived at the Showcase . He came highly recommended by several of the Eels European scouts and we were so pleased with his high performance at one of the top showcases in North America. Premier coach Frank Scarpaci noted, “you can tell by his compete level and work ethic during those games  on the ice that Handfast will be an immediate impact forward for us. We are looking forward to his arrival in a few weeks. “  He is one of 4 players from Sweden who will be on the Eels this season.
