The Florida Eels Top Defensemen  Jean-Philippe Montmarquette from Ste-Therese, QC Canada Signs Back with The Eels Premier team  for the 2018-19 Season

JP is 5’11” 175 pounds right shot Defensemen.  Having JP back is huge says Premier Coach Frank Scarpaci. “He is clearly one of the top 3 defensemen in the entire League. He is a veteran amongst veterans. He brings poise composure experience and unwavering determination to the back end. He is one of the most skill defensemen in the USPHL. He is extremely smart. Very high Hockey IQ.”   Defensive coach Alex Sanchez says “JP Plays extremely well in all 3 zones. He absolutely shuts down opponents in the D –Zone  and a consummate threat on the Blue Line. Key on special teams. “GM Scarpaci says no doubt this kid is a top NCAA College prospect. He had a plethora of interest last year and we expect that to mushroom this season…He could have gone  to college this year but wanted to develop even further and JP commented  “he is back to finish what he stared:  Win A  National Title.”  He has one of the highest compete levels in North America. This is a high character individual. He is a product of HPA Sports Management who always produces the highest level of players in North America. JP is leader on and off the ice. No doubt JP will secure a nice NCAA spot next year.
