The Florida Eels Elite team sweeps the Charleston Colonials in the Eels home openers. In game one the Eels were on fire having scored 9 goals and only allowing 1. The Colonials netminder was indeed smothered as the Eels pounded 48 shots on net in the evening contest. There were 7 different scorers who put the puck in the net for the Eels.
Andrew Van Ooteghem, played in goal for the Eels. He did very well and this was his first Junior game of his career. He turned away 26 shots.

The Eels retuned to form and picked up were they left off in game 1. This game was much more disciplined. Very few penalties on the part of the Eels. The final 5-4. This win makes the Eels now 4-0 on the young season. It brings us to 1st place in the Division
