CONGRATS TO FLORIDA EELS ALUMNI BRAIN KOZEK BEING NAMED ASSISTANT CAPTAIN FOR NCAA DIV. 3 FRAMINGHAM STATE UNIV 2020-21 SEASON

It is not surprising that Florida Eels Alumni Brian Kozek was selected as assistant Captain of his NCAA Div. 3 Men’s ice hockey team Framingham State University.
Brian was one of the Eels hardest working players ever to suit up in an Eels uniform. He served as Captain of the Eels Elite team and Premier team. He was a solid defenseman who found an offensive touch in his game in his final 2 seasons with the Eels.
We saw when he advanced to college, unlike most freshman players, he earned a regular spot on the FSU Rams power play and penalty kill special units, in addition to his regular rotation on defense. He is a high character individual a true leader – simply great to have on your team.
Brian returned to Ft Myers to train over the summer months. He puts in inordinate hours preparing for each season. We are extremely proud of him. Best wishes to him individually and to the FSU Rams
