The Florida Eels Premier Team put on a clinic Saturday afternoon. The guys have been on a tear with 3 straight wins vs Atlanta and a huge win over Tampa 8-2 last weekend. They did split vs Tampa last Sunday. But then got back to form tonight with an over powering performance against the Jr. Blades 7-1. The way to appreciate the Eels play is to think this weekend in a 3 game series thus far, Atlanta   defeated the Tampa Juniors in their 1st 2 games of the weekend. Now keep in mind that the Eels cruised through Atlanta 8-0, 8-4 and 5-1. Then pounded Tampa 8-2. Then took the house off the Jr Blades foundation tonight 7-1.

The Eels are indeed a very exciting team to watch. But the fruits of these performance just does not happen by chance. Both Eels teams train 3-4 hours per day. They break down every aspect of their games on videos and direct frame by frame how they can and will improve their games. They model their practices and fitness training to that of NCAA Div. 1 programs. It is a total commitment. For the Eels it isn’t enough to say they have the will to win. After all everyone wants to win. With the Eels all of our players have to buy in. That is to have the 100% unwavering commitment to train harder than others. To have the insatiable appetite to score and equally be committed to play defense as a team. This has to be reflected in every shift of every period and every second of every practice.
