Forward: Gage Dill, Florida Eels
The Eels’ hometown hero Dill (‘01/Fort Myers, Fla.) lended a big-time helping hand as the Eels defeated the Palm Beach Typhoon twice and Florida Jr. Blades twice to finish the season with eight straight wins. Dill sent out seven assists and also scored one goal. His second of three assists against the Jr. Blades in the season finale was his 100th Premier point. He finished his career with 101 points in 87 Premier games.
Goaltender: Alexandre Caron, Florida Eels
Caron (‘01/Sorel-Tracy, Que.) put up a gem for his final Premier regular season game, stopping 31 of 33 Florida Jr. Blades shots. He had also a few days earlier stopped 32 of 36 to defeat the Palm Beach Typhoon. Caron ended the season with five straight wins and a 17-3-0-2 record. Caron’s regular season totals show a 33-9-0-2 record, a 2.65 goals against average and a .918 career save percentage.
